Odd... We did the exact same thing today but without scrapping any of the old pandas

We got our dealer down to 5.5k so didn't really see the point of turning a perficly good car into been tins just for the sake of it...

Jim, I obviously don't have your gift for talking people around, the offer was the offer as far as my salesman was concerned.

'Tis done now anyway, the time for discussion was nearly two months ago, sorry.

I know, it's a bit 'I told you so' sorry...

But all I did was phone round the N.I. dealers and ask 'Would you do a brand new panda for the same price as FiatSuperSaver.....' and the 3rd one said 'Yes'

Jim

Re: What would you do?

PandaMark has just left with the balance of the bits - I think he got rather more in total than he was expecting...

Well, I looked at all the stuff in the photo and thought it would probably fit in the van (wasn't really planning the return trip in the Focus!) However, the main impetus for fetching it all was to free the little grey car hidden in the garage.

Look closely... Morris Minor

The Morris is no fun this weather - any one here remember vinyl seats?

However, it has its own charm - mostly the exhaust "fart" on the over-run - .

Re: What would you do?

Final post on the subject - collected the new Panda eco Active today.

I wonder if it will be alive in 15 years time? because that's what the previous Panda did.

Anyway, it seems nicely put together, and the doors close with a thunk, rather than a clang.

Jim
Well, if it was my car and I was using it, yes.

If my daughter has any grief with it, or I find I have something to tell or ask about it, you'll find me there.

Regards
