If MEP can't find one I'm pretty sure I know which dusty corner of our garage has some in. I tried initially to keep the mounts attached to the spare rads but they kept falling off!

lol. Glad I'm not the only one who had this problem. You ought to see the parts shed. About 30-40 Small sweet boxes (from dad's work), most labeled, full of everything from nuts, bolt, seatbelt and switches to rad bits :p

Can you check that the bottom mount that side hasn't fallen out. It's circle iirc. Might have poped out, causing rad to drop, and top one to fall out.

Jon.

The picture is of the left hand side of the rad as you look at the car, is this the cirlce you meant Jon? there isn't one i could see one the dropped side so this could be the problem

EDIT, Just seen Ricks post. Looks like its no. 10 i'm missing.

Sorry to steal Craig's thread but I thought rather than start one of my own I would add to this one... My radiator has a slow leak in the top corner, I bought soem Rad Weld to hopefully sort it for now but really do need to buy a new one. I saw one on Ebay brand new £30/ £12.95 postage. Is this a good price? has anyone bought from them before? or can anyone recommend a good website to buy from? I don't really want to buy one only for it to be crap or wrongly advertised.
Cheers
Lucy

got mine from www.adrad.co.uk , turned up quick, fitted nicely, works great and it turns out they're local to me now (weren't when I bought it) and father in law has used them before. Part for mine is listed at £38 odd incl vat and delivery although they only seem to list a selecta part for post '93 cars for some reason. Anybody know if the rad changed when the fuel injection kicked in???
Andrew.

APARENTLY if you rack an egg into the header tank, it will flow round the sytem, and when it finds a hole try to escape, it then boils and plugs the hole.

I will not b held responsible if any of you muppets attempt this:p

I've heard this also but wouldn't fancy an egg floating around the system.

Lucy £43 for a new rad dosen't sound too unreasonable. Doubt Fiat could supply it for that price.

Get the seller to tell you the length of the rad from left to right and check its the same size as yours as the 750's had smaller rads, so if its a 750 rad it could cause your Panda to over heat, but I doubt it is a 750 rad.

Jon.

Hahaha I've already been told this, in theory it should work but not gonna try it in case it goes wrong as he is my only means of transport to work!
