There are 2 sensors that I am not quite sure what they are for.
One is a large plug on the upper part gearbox near the clutch arm (perhaps its not a sensor?)
The other is on the cyl head just aft of the cam drive gear.
If I find out what they are for I may wire them up again.

Cheers

Just checked it out again. It has to be water temp. Do you know if it switches on at a certain temp or is it meant to drive an analogue gauge?
I was getting mixed up with the other big sensor in the water system (think it used to be in the rad) that I think is meant to turn on the rad fan if I had one.

I may make up a rain proof box with a few warning lights so err indoors turns it off if there is a problem.

I got all excited for a minute hoping that the gearbox connector was a front diff lock solenoid.

OK thanks for that. I am using a rad of something else but the fan switch is plumbed in to the hose. As yet I have no rad fan and it does boil over from to time to time. I am kicking myself for opting for a small rad. May now fit a bigger one, as there is plenty of room, or get a fan from the scrappie.

Also I may replace that head water temp analouge sensor with a simple switch sort to light a warning. Any ideas what is max normal temp so I can select a gizmo?
