Last service I got a pair of 165/70 tyres fitted to the rear wheels, the fronts are 155/60 (they were on the back with smaller again on the front) and I was wondering what the general concensus on tyre sizes was... I drove to Northumbria the week after I got the car back and I could have sworn it was more stable at high speed... The rattling was killing me at 75-80 mph before and now I only start worrying about taking off at 85-90ish:devil:... Anyway: What size tyres do you guys run?

My old 750 had 135's on which were great fun.. 4 wheel drifts on demand. The Parade has the optional 155/65s, which I replaced a couple of years ago. Difficult size to find these days, but lots of 155/70s about which are close enough to make no difference.

Cheers,

just need ones that fit the rims OK.
I'm running 165/65/13 which is conveniently the same as my Punto but on 5.5 wide Uno turbo rims. work fine for me but when I had my Uno I went from the standard 135/80/13 to a 155/70 on the same rims and always regretted it as you could feel them flexing on the rim if you cornered too hard, never felt right.
same with the punto, got two identical sets of tyres, one on the original steelies and one on another set of 5.5x13 alloys and the wider rims feel much more precise.

Have to say i have 155 on the parade and dont like the handling....
Much prefer smaller ones...seem to have more feel/fun.

possibly the same as my uno, been fitted at some point to too narrow rims, did take a bit of the fun out of it, but I get plenty of feel out of my current setup on the 165s.

I had 165/65/13 on the front of mine, they were excellent, so so much better than the 155/65/13 i had on before
