that is gorgeous.....if i may ask, how much to get it done? and do they seal it after the blast?

It's £700(ish) and they can do whatever you want, Electrophoretic E-coat, Etch primer, Underbody sealer, Seam sealer etc.

It's acid dipped not blasted ;)

All other bits are extra tho and very expensive.

I'm doing it all myself with a local bodyshop

Colour selection.

Sorry about my colour choice chaps (L361 Sandglow), but lets talk about this for a minute.
Sadly it's very easy for us to look at a bare shell and imagine what it could look like, or what WE want it to look like.
We all have dreams of the perfect car we can afford at the time, and Sandglow, (whenever I'm not thinking about my girl and Kiera Knightley getting it on :yum:) is my mental image.
I've always loved 4x4 touring, Camel Trophy especially, and I believe them to be the epitome of what 'Wheeling' is all about. I F***ing hate these muppets in their various stupid metalic painted, chrome bumpered w*** chariots :bang:
I prefer the idea of Sir David Stirling and his mob rippin' across the desert in their sand coloured Jeeps . Therefore I want my Panda to look like a serious, 'working' 4x4, not some overpriced, un-dented pile of rubbish :yuck:

Please write some ideas of what you would do with a bare Panda shell and the colours you've thought about!!

Nick

That's fantastic. How much welding needs done? It's a good opertunity to see where the weak spots for rust really are.

As for colour I keep coming back to british racing green.

Perfect colour!!!! Its just what i was plaining to do until i fell in love with the panda i bought and can't bring myself to change it from original state.
I think the car lends itself sooooooo well to the CAMEL makeover.....can't wait to see it done.
Good luck!

BL 'Russet brown' I think when the bloke in the paint labs at BL came up with that one, he'd been looking at skid marks in the bottom of his y-fronts and wanted to call it 'Gusset Brown':D

Spot on job though with the dip(y)
