fiat panda FAQ

ok since i will have this week free and having finished my 16V conversion(another post will cover it)i volunteer to create a fiat panda faq by reading through all the posts and making question and one answer style and give credit to the people that reply to the original post. When i finish i´ll post so you guys can say your 2 cents/ideas etc. I´ve noticed some posts can no longer be acessed namely this one http://www.fiatforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1175 thanks

I cant help feel ill be asking a lot of questions over the next few months/year etc.
Im sure many/most will have been asked before.

Im a moderator on the UK MX-5 owners club site and the number of times I have to write the same answers to common questions is getting stupid......., sometimes in the same week.

Stikies were supposed to solve this but problem is no one reads them, they just look at new posts. It´ll be a bit of work, but i think i can manage on my own,if not i´ll ask for help

Ok, after 4 days work i´ve gone through 3 pages of posts. I´ve got 6 pages on the faq, so far i´ve covered

-brakes
-wheel sizes
-wipers
-brake lights
-headlights
-compatible engines
-hesitation

(I´ve though about posting what i have but have been advised otherwise.)

Ok, i´ve started to find the problem of people posting questions and getting answers but never following up with what actually solved the problem.

BTW, thanks for doing this. It's well worth it!

I find it hard answering the same question over again and referring people to previous posts. The idea is so people look at the faq and then ask if it´s not there(maybe i´ll keep adding on to it, or someone else with more time )

How do you guys think i should give credit for the answers. I was thinking after every answer placing the members that contributed to the answer, problem is that it starts to complicate things(reading posts and then looking again for names where i got the answers etc)So anyone have better ideas?


Another way would be to credit all Fiat Forum members(but that seems unfair to all the people who actually helped!!!)
A quick answer would be helpfull as i´m doing part of the faq right now
