Was well impressed with the panda after we decided to take it with us on our annual road trip to the War and Peace Show in Kent on the weekend. It was a last minute thing as we started loading up the Volvo and decided there wasent really enough room for people to fit in it with all the camping gear , as it was our friend was itching to go so an hour before we were about to leave it was decided the Panda was going aswell!
We quickly checked the oil and topped up the coolent and all the other usual stuff as it was a long journey (8 hours to get there). The whole way down and the whole way back was nothing but a smooth drive, even with it loaded full of camping gear it never once struggled and the temperature gague stayed just under 90 the whole trip.
After arriving back at home was happy to find that the car had used little to no oil (pretty good for 900 mile round trip I thought ) hopefully a sign that the engine has a lot of life left in it . Another benefit of taking the Panda with us is that it did not cost a lot in Petrol... It actually gets fuel mileage... be scared to know what the people in the WW2 army tanks at the show get .
