i had to get a door from wicks in the 750 so tilted front passenger seat forward and heads rest cracked the screen :bang: have had it forward loads of times before and that hasnt happened, is some thing broke?

Assuming that you have the proper seats and not the canvas seats, the seat shouldn't be hitting the windscreen. I've never examined one closely enough to know exactly what stops it from tipping forward and touching the screen, but something in the tilt mechanism does. It's dark out or I'd have a look for you.
Not on the 750L with hammock seats!
Always goes all the way forwards, luckily the position we have then in our 750L, they rub the sun visior.
So why did you put the seat forward? Why didn't you just put the back down?

i have hammock seats! but not the sort with the back that goes down, my dads old panda had that it was cool

Not all 750s had hammock seats. I couldn't recall what model Dave has.

All 750L's had 'canvas' and the 750's didn't (J-reg onwards I think the 'L' was dropped).
