Anyone got any pics, diagrams, of Y10 front suspension ,
I'm looking to fit an anti roll bar to my panda , I believe the Y10 is same suspension as panda but with a.r.bar
The other option I was thinking of was a 127 a.r.bar as the panda suspension was derived from that.
Comments/suggestions welcome.
Anyone with a cheap anti roll bar that would easily fit ?

Thanks for that link ! I don't seem to have much luck with the search facility on here ? tried the other day to look for old posts on fitting the 1246 /75 engine , which I know has a lot of info , no success ?!

So how about the 127 anti roll bar with 4 home made clamp brackets to fit on like the Y10 one ? must be a little easier to find .

How about someone donates a 127 anti roll bar cheap and I make up a batch of clamp brackets at cost for forum members wanting to do this conversion ?

That's because it's a 1242 engine, not a 1246. Try searching for 1242 next time and see how many results you get ;)

To be honest a 127 is probably just as rare as a Y10, especially when you consider they ceased production around '82 - '83 whereas the Y10 was produced right up until the mid 90's in some markets. Also, I'm not sure that all the 127 models had an anti roll bar - you may find only the 127 Sport and 1300 GT models had them. In which case you'll be back in rocking horse poo territory!

Oh yes, if the posts are helpful to you don't forget to use the 'thanks' buttons (thumbs up logo) ;)

What , like that you mean ?
I was under the impression that the 127 used an anti roll bar as the front tie rods , much the same as the old MK1/2 Escorts did ?

You can still order a y10 anti-roll bar from fiat for approx £85 + vat (thats just the bar). With the rest of the fittings comes to around the £200 mark:(

I don't think a 127 one would fit as there is little to no commonality between it and the Panda (they have different wheel track to start with).

Front track :
Panda - 1254mm
127 - 1280mm
Cinq. - 1270mm
Would guess they could all be suitably 'made to fit':D
