But its the internal controler that has come off, (looks like its been glued up before) Therefore the spring is not holding the mirror tight and it drops down all the time. If I cant get another Il prob just glue the whole thing solid.

Not happy.) I have tried my local scappies for a second hand one (Very strapped for cash), but nobody has them. Does anyone have a spare one I can pay for? Or I could swap it for a part I have, or a haynes manual  (I have two), a car jack, accellerator cable etc.

I have an MOT tomorrow (Free retest in two weeks), so I am looking to be pretty speedy. £40 for a wing mirror is quite a lot, so I just wanted to check if anyone on the forums had one, or knew where to get a cheap one.
