I was having a look at my front suspension and noticed that there is some play in the top suspension mounting (Rubber doughnut with bearing in middle).
How much play should there be, I have new springs as the ones on the car are broken but dont want to fit them if I have faulty top mountings.
Anyone have any ideas?

There shouldn't be any play in the topmounts you can get the part from the dealers for about £30 per side or a motor factor may be cheaper.
