1.6 Palio S/w Injection warning light

This fault is as follows
1/ would drive OK from cold
2/ After standing from a long drive ( 30kms ) would then go to poor performance with temp guage at nearly half temp unable to climb hills but would clear now and then
3/ was advised by a Fiat tec to change crank pulley sensor (R500.00 ) but not cure
4/ local mech with diagnostic comp kept coming up with " coil 2 " error so we decided to change the " coil pack ' on top of the right hand side of the engine
its a duel coil with 1 feeding 2 cylinders and the other feeding the other 2
5/ Changing the coil pack ( R500.00 ) seems to have cured the problem
Only a good drive will confirm this
Will let you know if any change
BTW the faulty unit was a Champion and the replacement was a BERU ?

This "Coil pack" - what does it look like ? to the right had side of my palio i have a vertivally mouted "plate" with some electronic rectangular box attached to it .. is this it ?

I own a Palio 1.6 as well and I am from India.
Yup,my car's ignition coil packed up and was replaced recently as well.The original ignition coil unit was a Champion and the new one is made by Beru, which is German.
