| Key/Imobiliser Hi can anyone help me, every now and then I have trouble starting my car, which is a Fiat Palio Weekend. When I turn the key on all the lights go out on the dash which is right, except my key light which stays on and it has code underneath lit up, and when I turn it over the engine ticks over but will not start, do you think this could be my imobiliser. Any advice would be most welcome. Ann

| blessed are the apostates | Re: Key/Imobiliser definately the immob. it could simply be a faulty aerial at the ignition barrel, or a fault in the code box, or a fualt in the ecu, or a wiring fault between the 3. your fiat dealer is in the best position to help. if you have any other keys try using them instead. (you should get 2 blue keys on a palio)
