Hi all. I have extensively searched this forum and don't find answers to my not working heat gauge. It suddenly just stopped working. I have rechecked fuses and the earth and I don't find any problems there. Then, below the inlet manifold towards the firewall I found a sensor which seems to be attached to the head by a bolt. The plug of this sensor had come loose and dropped onto the exhaust and melted. I managed to retrieve the plug and with some creative cutting I managed to get it to fit into his sensor. However, I don't know what this sensor is for or of I have the plug incorrectly in by 180 degrees. Can somebody help me with this?

Try 99rpm.com for parts location or try ePer pages, I have not come across this issue yet but u will have an idea about the sensors on ur can once u check the site and locate the part, let us know if u find it,
