Hi all

I recently purchased a 2001 Fiat Palio with an aftermarket sanyo headunit installed, when I took a look behind the headunit, I found that the previous owner had connected the oem wiring straight to the new sanyo wiring harness without an adapter harness. The original harness blocks are still there in the dash attached to one or two wires however are not in use. So my question is does anyone know the actual meanings (uses) of each original wire as I would like to either reconnect to original harness or to do a straight connection to my new sony headunit. If you could give me a description of each wire meaning e.g Ground=Black or +LeftFront=.... ect. Then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome,:)
the Palio section isn't the busiest,
I'd take a peek in the ICE section..,as that's what we are taliking here, (y)

Perhaps someone can confirm if all Fiat vehicles are wired the same, minus a few additional wires on this picture. please confirm any fiat or palio experts.

Well I've finally rewired my original harness thanks to the previous owner leaving me enough wire. Now I'm curious as to where to find a harness adapter that fits my harness, so that I can connect it to my sony loader. Does anyone know where to find this is Cape Town. Please leave me a DM

Sounds been sorted, as I got the harness for cheap, this other guy wanted to charge 100 bucks over the actual price.
