My issue is the car hesitates on acceleration and then it feels like it releases and it goes no problem
Did you find the problem on you car my 1200 8v is doing the same

Fuel quality.
Fuel filter.
IAC valve.
O2 sensor.
Etc.

im not sure if its a carb or fuel injection I think its fuel injection if it is there should be a thin pipe from intake manifold to the map sensor if that is not there you will have some lag onpull away and irregular idealing . and you should try kotwals they have a few branches they are a lot cheaper than agents or midas
