Hi friends,

My radiator fan just stopped working all of a sudden whilst driving. Have checked all fuses possible, fan works fine when connected directly to battery.

Gave to a local mechanic and now I have lost good idle also. idling is very high. He has probably screwed up the wiring somewhere.

Does anyone have the electrical diagram for Fiat Siena (Palio) , model is 2002 so that I could diagnose the problem.

Thanks

Welcome at Fiat Forum.

The fan is controled by the ECU, impuls is coming from a large sensor screwed in the radiator lower left side, and the temp. sensor on top of the thermostat.
Idling is controled by the IAC ( Idle Air Control valve), next to the throttlebody.

hi Sunju, I have resolved my own erratic idling(Palio 1.2, 8v) by bypassing the IAC valve. I blocked off the air passage inside the throttle body and now control my idling using my accelerator peddle.
