Tappet Clearance – How to Check & Adjust in Palio 1.2 nv Petrol?

Friends,
In service schedule of Palio 1.2 nv petrol, it is mentioned that a TAPPET CLEARANCE checking & adjustment is required at 30K Km intervals excluding the version with Hydraulic Tappets. My questions are:
(1). Is this car having Hydraulic Tappet? How to know?
(2). How to Adjust & Check T.C. in this car?
(3). What is the difference between Hydraulic Tappet & Normal Tappet?

normally the 8 Valve are mechanical(spring)

the 16 Valve are Hydraulic ( oil)

I do not understand the nv you mention in the engine type..??

Abbreviation "nv" stands for "New Version" of fiat Palio 1.2 Petrol car which was launched in India after it regular version.

As we don't know Palio versions made in India, you better ask at a Fiat dealership.
