Dear Friends,
I have observed something tar type molten pasty and sticky material beneath the bottom of my car (Fiat Palio 1.2 nv Petrol). I am unable to assess and conclude anything about that material. I am attaching some pictures of it.
What that tube/pipe is around which this material seems spread ?
From where has it came?
What should I do to clear it?
Is it something risky?
Please pay urgent attention and guide and advise me for this.

Is this a melted gear-cable?

Yes it is.
Don't know what's inside the thick part though...
Maybe a protector to keep the cable away from the hot steering rack...??
And is has slided away from it's original position..??
