Good Morning


I have Fiat Palio 16 valve 1.6 year 2000 model , The car is idling very high and only comes down to the normal refs when I hit the Aircon switch, I took it to the Machanic and they could not find the problem , can anyone please assist me as to what the cause could be for this

Idle is controlled by the IAC ( Idle Air Control valve) on your model.
You can find inexpensive replacements on Ebay.
Also, after taking the rubber hose of the throttle body, use carb. cleaner spray to clean the throttle flap, dirt build up around the edges will prevent it to close, causing high idle as well.
