Good day guys.

I have a water leak on my car.I thought it was a rubber hose, but it turned out to be the metal pipe attached to the intake.

Any help on the removal of this pipe.

Thanks
Chris

Thanks Peter, I cut off the rusted pieces and attached the rubber hose to what was left of the pipe.

No I've got another problem. After replacing the temperature sensor and refilling the coolant the car runs hotter than usual and the fan does not come on.

I bled the cooling system, first closed the screw on the radiator and than the one on the breather pipe.

For now I'm gonna wire the fan direct on a switch for time being.

Any ideas as to what can be wrong?

I damaged the sensor while unscrewing it,the plastic part with the connector broke off from the part in the intake.

I replaced it with a brand new one,not bought from Fiat, aftermarket.
The temp gauge is working with the new sensor.

I replaced the aftermarket temp sensor with original Magnetti Marelli sensor and the car is 100%.not running hot and fan comes on.(y)

the aftermarket one was grey and Magnetti marelli is red.
