As the rear wheel arches of our m.y. 2000 Palio Weekend Mk1 started to rust a little on the outside, I treated them a while ago with Fertan and Dinitrol ML.
Today I took the inside mouldings of, and discovered that the inner wheel arches were completely dry....
No rust protection, no paint, nothing....!!
No wonder the arches started to rust from the inside out...!
I sprayed about 1/4 liter Teroson Terotex HV 400 ML/wax on both sides, using a compressor ( set at 4 bar) and a spraygun/ flexible sonde.
I hope it will stop the rust for some time to come.
I strongly advise all Weekend owners here, to do the same, as the factory apperently doesn't...!!!
