As the three year limit was due this month for our Palio Weekend 1,6-16V , we changed today the cambelt with it's tensioner and bearing, as well as several belts, tensioners and bearings for the waterpump, powersteering and A/C, so 4 belts in total...
As the powersteering pump was making more and more noise lately, we changed the pump for a new one as well, all is smooth and quiet now..!!


(Remember to change the cambelt every 3 years or 60.000KM...!!)

We also cleaned, de- rusted and lubricated the gearshift mechanism on top of the gearbox, shifting is now smooth as new..!!


# 4 becomes rusted and in time will get stuck inside # 6.
So force it out, clean it with sandpaper and lubricate it.
