Dear All,

after many months of wearing earplugs while driving the 1.6 palio weekender i now had a chance to do some repairs.
Bought a new flex thingy to replace the missing one in the exhaust.
Asked bro to help me, i brought cookies, cola and chips to keep us going
We welded the flex thing on the exhaust manifold, made everything fit near-perfect
Replaced battery, cleaned & lubed rear window-wiper, and, my personal pride: adjusted studs so the hood now closes nearperfect
The car has been greatly improved

Dear all,

the '99 Palio weekender has been with me&wifey for a full year...looks like it will not pass the yearly test (mot or apk).
As it happens i stumbled onto a '2001 fiat marea 1.6 weekender
At this moment me and bro are checking the car out to see if it can carry us to next year's mot/apk.

Another Palio gone....
Well, the Palio Mk1 is becoming more rare these days for sure...




On the other hand,I just overhauled the complete A/C system for about 500 euro's on our 09/ 2000 Palio, we intend to keep it for some more years.
Last week it has it´s annual MOT, or APK as it´s called overhere, without any problems at all, we own this car since 2003, done about 200.000km´s and it´s the most reliable car we ever owned...!!
