HI friends , I stay 100km away from bangalore in small city, I have a starting problem since 2 months in my palio 1.9D , the cause could not be identified from past 2 months by the local mechanics. there is no ECM scanning available in my place(so please guide me accordingly).
The problem is when I start the engine it starts and stalls in 2 sec :bang:. I changed the new crank shaft sensor and checked , even then the same problem persists.
I dont know what to do , kindly guide me on the same .

1.fuel comes to the injector line .
2.fuel filter checked
3.Fuel pump is fine .

Hello ,and welcome to FF,

on older fiats I have found the small rubber hoses around the ( mechanical) injectors to break down with age, letting it small quantities of air, (fuel can drain back),

What year is your car....

Should be older then 2004. That 1.9 diesel has very good low end torque but gets out if breath too soon and has absolute zero top end

OK, than it's OBDII.
Buy the Autel MS 309 mentioned in the post above, and you can read the ECU yourself.
Saves a lot of workshop money...and you always know what the problem is yourself.
