Technical Fiat Palio 1.6i 16v Twin Cam timing marks revealed

hi. I know that this is not related to the original post, but i have a serious problem and i have run out of options on how to repair this issue.:bang:
My Palio 1.6 16v just won't idle. I have replaced the MAP sensor, had the timing belt replaced and double checked the throttle body just in case the idle control valve was not working. Even after all this expense, the car has not changed its unusual behavior

I have no technical experience, so i have been forking out money left right and center trying to get this sorted. I have been told by one mechanic to replace my throttle body(since the valve cannot be removed), but the other mechanic checked it and tested to see if the idle control valve was working. He showed me it was by turning the ignition on while it was plugged in. The valve moved into position and when the ignition was turned off, it returned to its resting position. Throttle body was disassembled at that point.

I feel like i am being given a crash course on motor mechanics and electronics. I did not expect to be in such a position as this is my only vehicle. I need some advice from anyone who has had a similar experience with this model and help me to avoid spending anymore money on things that will not fix the actual problem. :slayer:

Hi there,

New to the forum.
Please can somebody mail me the pics for palio 16v timing marks. I've been looking all over the net with no success. Cambelt snapped and all 16v were wrecked.

That I understand ye, but still I need the positions at which the cams must be set to so that I can set ghem accordingly?
