Dear All,

Maybe i have some problem in the frontwheel section :(
There seems to be a rather large "dull spot" in the steering system.
Also, when i accelerate full power (pedal to the floor) the car wants to turn the steeringwheel to the right, if i do not allow the wheel to turn then the car corners to the left.
When i decellerate (let off the gasspedal) same thing happens, only in the other direction.
Also car is veeery sensitive to wind and/or sideslopes in the road.
Quite annoying, and might even prove to be a bit dangerous.
I'm gone check out the fusee/suspension/wheelbearing thingemagic.

Grtz,
PymerOne,
Pim.

Have the alignment checked at a SERIOUS tire fitter, Palio's are very sensitive about the correct alignment
Have them set it, within specs, to minimum toe-out, that way it behaves best at low speeds.
Also consider a H&R lowering spring kit, it lowers the car only about 2-3 cm, but roadholding improves a lot, and it looks better as well.
Original springs on the Mk1 Palio's are to long and soft, aimed at bad, non European roads...
