Hi,
I have a palio deisel 2008 multijet 1.8.It started having problems in acceleration especially on an incline.had to drive in 1st gear on inclines.took the car to a local mechanic in pune,he told me that the turbo of the car is faulty.got the turbo repaired(costed me Rs.10200).Also changed the catalytic converter.but the problem still persists along with a new problem that the car vents out lot of smoke now.when i asked the mechanic he said that it ll go away after driving for a few kilometers.was pissed off with mechanic.just got my car back.
Please advice me about what could be the reason for no pick up on inclines and also for the smoke.

Second, have your ECU read for stored faults at a dealer, than, come back here and post results.
