Palio 1.6 EL
HI ,Could any body tell me if the cambelt breaks on the 1.6 el does it bend
valves, and are the cam pullys marked. Thanks

yes if the belt snaps on the 1.6 it will take the valves with it, i think the cams are marked

Change the cambelt every 60.000 KM's or three years, whatever comes first.
( it used to be 120.000 KM's, but Fiat has cut this in half, because too many belts broke on the DOHC engines.)
