| Lowering a Palio Weekend After driving our 2000 Palio Weekend 1,6-16V for about 5 years now, I've had it.....with the soft suspension. So I ordered a set of performance springs from a German company H+R (www.h-r.com), (wich I will fit with the original shocks). They are stronger than the original ones, giving a firmer ride,(what I want!) they will also lower the car about 1 inch (not my goal). Anyway, what about the brake (height) compensators (there are two, left and right, and they can be adjusted) on the rear axle, H+R says it MIGHT need adjustment..... What do you all think??

| Re: Lowering a Palio Weekend Well, the springs are in today! This lowers the car about 1 inch, but more importantly, gives a more firm ride, that's exactly what I wanted! As for the rear brake adjustment, can't say much right now, I have fitted new brake disc's (Brembo Max) and pads (Ferodo Premier), so I have to be gentle to the brakes the first hundred miles or so, to let them bed in. Next week I'm going to have a wheel alignment.

| Re: Lowering a Palio Weekend Alignment done. Everything's fine, wish I did lower the car 5 years earlier, after I bought it...!! Those German H&R springs are just perfect in any way!
