Palio feul injection problem

Hi Guys, I have a 2004 palio 1200i, i was driving a few days ago when all of a sudden the car just cut out, after a couple of checks i found that there is no fuel coming through. when you start the car you normaly you hear how the fuel injection squirts petrol into the system. now you hear nothing at all. so the car doesn't start. but then there is times when i get in the car turn on the eggnition hear the fuel injection suirt in petrol and car starts as normal, but just a mere 5km later it just cuts out again, and it goes on. could anyone please shed some light for me on this.

you must have to check if there is any loose contact in the fuel pump relay or fuse.... If every thing is right then check the fuel pump.....

One easy way to check the fuel pump is take the fuel pump out and dip it in a tub filled with fuel and give power to it check if the fuel is been pumped out with even speed and flow if ther is any break or jerk in its flow better change the fuel pump hope this would solve your problem......
