Fiat Palio alternator

My Fiat Palio 1.2 ELX petrol is just 6 months old. One day I found the alternator is not working. The seller. replaced with lot of fighting. But why does it occur in a new car. The alternator is Micco make. I wonder, Fiat does not make its alternator. If so, how many items are there which are bpought from local market. Fiat should take care of every thing.
