I was at an auction recently with my grandpa, and as we walked through the rows of over 400 cars I came across something that I had never seen before, had no idea what it was, but I fell in love with the classic look instantly. Did some searching on google and found it was a 1970 Fiat 850 coupe. I had to have it!

We went back to the auction the next day, and I waited all day to bid on this thing . It ended up going for a reasonably low price, and I was the high bidder (y) I know it looks rough, but its surprisingly solid for its age. Just a few little holes here and there.

I loaded it up and took it home to see what I had bought. Engine and driveline are all there, wheels roll, new windshield was laying in the rather rough interior, and I found all the tail lights and some badges also.

Current plan for the car is to throw some new tires on it and see if I can get it running on the original engine. Ill keep posting slowly as I make progress. I will post pictures once I have enough posts to be allowed.

Here's a few pics of the car. It's definitely rough and the interior is about shot. Very little rust though.

Millhouse was kind enough to sell his Fiat to me and it was delivered last night! It's new home is in the suburbs of NYC. Can anyone suggest a good Fiat mechanic in the area? Looking forward to getting the engine running...
