Hi All ! I miss you !!

I know I left you..ect ect..
But I was looking for a solution for my Drivers seat, it won't tilt forward. Checked the ford owners club forum, there are plenty of threads, just lacking any answers !
So seeing as I was an 'Ex-sei'. Does any one on here know how to replace/repair one of the cables, which operates the tilt. ?

You own a ford?? Ban? leather seats or fabric?

Own a Fiesta MK6 Fabric seats...

I am under the impression its a similar mechanism to the sei/ cinq lever. ?

well if you can peel back the fabric you can use a domino electrical connector to re connect but it being a cable i suspect its snapped on a corner so you would be better of replacing it with a bike brake or gear cable that's if you can "peel it back" without damaging it

Its probably the lever that's broken, I think its a tight push fit into the seat frame (with plastic securing clips), would advise getting lever and cable and replace both together. With the seat fully forward you can manually tilt the back manually, unhook the seat back cover and route the cable into place, not a hard job, just fiddly.

The Focus section o FOC is pretty good ;-)

My other (most say better) half has a similar problem - except she's actually snapped the clip off...a mate of hers is supposed to be looking at it either tonight or over the weekend - I'll ask her to tell me how he gets on.
