I must say you must be easy pleased.
I must say you must be easy pleased.
its a breath of fresh air that people can actually look past fiat and at companies like Hyundai I keep saying this in the panda and stilo section but I think they must think I am on drugs or summat..IMO fiat are screwed as a manufacturer and need to get their act together very quickly or suffer the consequences..
Good luck with the i30, like kia hyundai have sorted themselves out over the past few years
im hoping to get a coupe as my next car, theyve stopped making it so prices should come down
Thanks AppleSei, the 2.0 S3 caught my attention I must say, twas just a tad long for the drive parking situation at home tho...
I agree to an extent that Fiat have some catching up to do, but not in terms of equipment - a lot of the equipment that your Hyundai has I could do without (parking sensors, millions of airbags, etc), just adding weight and more things to go wrong. Fiat need to work on reliability and offer longer warranties to show that they are not the '80's rustbuckets that everyone remembers so vividly. However, I will agree that Hyundai have come a long way and I would consider them if I was ever in the market for a brand-new car.
I also agree with Apple, the Coupe is :yum: but my manager has one and says he's had no end of issues with it, might be 'cos it's only the 1.6 though.
Oh and @Dave: Yes, this is a FiatForum but are you really telling me that you are so narrow minded as to say that no other manufacturer even remotely interests you? I was always under the assumption that this was a forum for automotive fanatics in general - like our friends PNL and Ffoxy - who can see past a badge. I don't know about you but I don't want to be part of a community that says 'you're sh*t 'cos you drive a Korean/French/German/Jap/etc car', so I sincerely hope that's not what you're trying to tell me?
Edit: Sorry for the mini-rant Keith

This was an interesting Thread from a couple of years ago on the Kia / Hyundai debate...seemingly predicting the future from some knowledgeable past members.

Thanks Phil / Payney. I'm gobsmacked actually, sitting in my GPS before & after my test drive it struck me, as Phil says how much catchup Fiat have to do. Maybe they already started with the Evo. There really is a World of difference folks... no sour grapes here I still love the GPS to bits!
The Grey actually looks good in the metal Payney, the silver for me less so.
