Opinions: My GPS vs MK4 Astra 888 Turbo

If my situation changes and I end up working closer to home, I want a petrol.

I've always loved the astra T8 for the heritage, they're only 200bhp but the Z20let engines are plenty tuneable.

So, what are everybodys opinions on swapping my GPS (see thread in sig for spec) for an astra T8? Or would you f*ck the T8 and go for the GSI?

discuss.

Theres no chance I'd be spending 17k on a 180bhp fiat hatchback! I could have a decent teg DC5 with enough change to insure it and fit a full spoon exhaust for that money!

At least the Astra has a proper name.. EQ400 and DC5... they're vacuum cleaner models.. not cars!

888's a nice enough motor once you make the back seats the same colour as the fronts

Not what I'd hoped tbh.

New fiat + miles = bad depreciation

I'd like to see 7k for it. I'm just testing the water tbh.

The worst thing you can possibly do when buying a car is 'settle' for something you don't really want as much as something else.

I love my car in red, but I wasn't patient and should have held on for a white one. I regret that I 'settled' for red.

i know what you mean but settling would be getting a punto JTD when a Stilo is what i really want, getting a GPS would mean waiting for them to be around the 4k mark.
