Re: Opinions: My GPS vs MK4 Astra 888 Turbo

I think you should keep your GPS...keep saving, and then buy a proper car mate

You've got everything the astra would give you in your GPS IMO...other than the sound lol. But I know what you mean, I wish i'd held off for a red or white one 'cos the black is a pain in the arse!!! Looks the dogs though when its clean

But the astra has the sound, handling, seats and the tuneability!

since when did the GPS not handle though? And if you want seats you should get the decent abarth one's yours is tuned by quite away considering you've just done a remap to it and boosted it by 50BHP! And i quite like the sound of my car thankyou

I think you should get what you want really but keep the GPS so you can still come to meets

I was just wondering what other people thought of the T8. I want something that not many others own. A car people ask questions about.

I'd like a T8 and take it to 290bhp. The GPS doesn't handle too bad but the T8 is better.

just testing the water like I said. Would be a few months away tbh if i don't talk myself into keeping the GPS.

to be fair they are really nice cars...if you like one and you're in a position to get one then go for it 290bhp would be mental

GP vs Mk4 astra is exactly the same as corsa vs mk4 astra, so there is only one possible winner.

^thats one VX i'd happily swap my alfa for^

Go all the way and get an Astra VXR. In fact, I know of one for sale...

yes and yes.

After the last weeks experiences, I'll probably end up getting a bike!

I took the GP on the one way mountain section of the isle of mann tt course this week, and I'm happy, even though at 110mph bikes were going past me like I was in reverse.

are you sure you weren't actually in reverse? you can't expect to outperform a bike mate! Although you could always knock them off!

Z1000s are gorgeous bikes, got a real streetfighter edge to them. I did a lap of the tt course as a pillion on a TL1000 on wednesday, they just pull an pull!

Yea your welcome to! I'll hopefully be there on a bike next year!

On race day one rider got clocked at 197mph. Its good to watch considering you are about 10ft from the riders.
