Hi,
I bought my daughter a L reg corsa and all has been well untill the battery went flat. Now when i connect the charged battery the alarm goes off.
The only way to stop it is to discon the siren. But when i do the car won't start. There is no smell of petrol when i turn the car over so i think it has a immobiliser aswell.

The problem is i did'nt know it had a active alarm. There is no fob or anything. I just thought it had a old alarm that had been disconnected long before i bought it. I have found the control box but there is no reset button or anything on it.

Anybody got some usefull advise on how to disconnect it or where reset buttons use to be mounted. The alarm is 1993/1994 (where fobs around then).

Cheers

Thanks for the reply custard,
It's a gamma G-540
There are 3 black wires comming from the unit.

One is hard wired into the unit and has 3 wires inside which are connected to 3 wires that look to be part of the loom (blue, black and red). I think this must power the unit.

The other two are connect to the unit with removable pin connectors.
These two go deep into the dash and i can't find any visible connection to the loom.
