I've got a 2002 Megane that'll be up for sale soon. probably around £2950. averages between 45 and 55 mpg (usually 45 with my heavy foot :p ) and has aircon, half leather seats, cd changer etc etc...

Although the price will be negotiable ;)

thanks for that, and £200 a tyre

Beast: not so keen on estate cars but i got really excited reading your post lol

dont do a ryan, your not that old yet

Oi!

There is nothing 'old' about owning an estate. Especially when you drop the rear seats and suddenly bam! you have a mobile bed ;) Plus if you don't quite fit you can drop the bumper and have your feet stick out the boot :p

Pop down sometime and I'll take you for a test drive. Of the car of course.

just been offered a cavalier 1.7 td with full leather, lowish miles, t+t for £120, why am i tempted lol?

because its worth more in bits, i.e the leather would fetch £100 on its own if in good condition

How about a good old mondeo TD! They are ten a penny :)

if i did get it, it would be do i could sell my car, get the cash, and use the the cavalier whilst i find a decent mk2 jtd, my GF didn't like the look of a Stilo (i showed her the 2.4 abarth too lol) don't think she'l be seen in a cavalier lol

good old cavs, i havent driven a gsi2000 for a very long time now. its weird but i miss them, the vectra could never drive as well. kind of like the way a nova handles better than a corsa. i bet if lotus didnt get involved the same would be true for the mk4 astra.
