Parking up my Rallye for 2 weeks as i go on holiday.

Iirc its good practice to use chocks instead of leaving it on the handbrake, is this correct? not 100% sure on the idea of not having handbrake on, or should it be ok for a couple of weeks? :D Not sure what else, might disconnect the battery though

nah, only 2 weeks. it'll be fine on the handbrake

Dunc

It should be fine Alex - I've parked my Cinq up for that long before and my handbrake was fine.

as long as it doesn't rain/flood it'll be fine!

would make it unstealable though, nick all its ign leads out of it, chain the steering wheel to the seat mountings etc. takes 5mins and avoids it getting smashed and nicked, it'll just get smashed:eek:

Definately make it unpinchable. HT leads is a good one.

Unplug the ECU as well, and take a few fuses out the fusebox.

For real saftely take a wheel off it.

Unfortunately you have a car that if someone knows what it is, and they have a tendancy to nick cars... you get the idea. (probably a step down from a mag featured cinque though!)
