Just thought I'd introduce myself as we have purchased in April this year a 2013 Fiat 500s.

It has been purchased to give me a little city run about and will be for when my son starts to drive.

Had been looking for the right 500s for a number of months until we found this one. Went for it due to the spec and was being sold by a main dealer.

Spec is, Fiat 500s, with opening roof, full leather, Interscope Sound, Rear Sensors and Xenon lights, one owner with 25,000 miles.

Car has turned out to be fine, however the buying experience was a nightmare that I came close to going legal with, as the main dealer misrepresented the vehicle in writing (twice) saying it had full history, when in actual fact they knew it had none.

Finally reached a settlement but I understand that Trading Standards may be considering a criminal case against the dealer, as I guess I was not the first - however time will tell.

I've been a long term Fiat / Alfa owner, still have a 156 GTA SW that is in the garage for fun day use, its a very special GTA as it is my second GTA, had it almost since new in 2006, has very low miles and was the last official sold GTA by Alfa UK.

Had a string of Alfa's and Fiat's that included an X1/9, 105TC, 130TC Abarth, Fiat Uno Turbo plus a number of Punto's so glad to now have a Fiat and Alfa in the fleet.

I still have from my 130TC Abarth, the original wind deflectors, that are like new, and still with the original Fiat packing as I purchased them new (and they were next to impossible to get back then) I had them fitted to the car for about six months, before I sold the 130 TC - as I said that one day I might get another 130 TC - however that must have been over 20 years ago!

We then have a family battle bus - non Italian for main use.

Will look forward to keeping an eye and contributing to the form, quite active on Alfa Owner forum, and love the Italian car community.

Here is looking forward to the 500s through the summer!

Cheers

Simon
