Hi there. New to the forum as I've just bought a 2007 1.2 panda for my son. Very happy with it apart from the fact it momentarily cuts off when it hits a bump. I knew there are several threads on this but beyond checking and cleaning connections any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

A quick check shows that if I tap one of the cables going into the top of the ECU it cuts out. I'll disconnect it, clean it up and see if it helps.

Wow , huge well done , that's a problem that could have been a pain in the rear to find.
Good luck.

Welcome to FF.
If cleaning the connector does not help, it could be a cracked joint where the connector is soldered to the circuit board inside the ECU. If you are not handy with the solderin iron I can probably do it for you.

Excellent. Really helpful. I'll update the posting when I try it. Great forum this!

Problem returned. Definitely an issue with cable / connection to ECU. I'll update in case anyone else experiences the same thing

If you get stuck remember Roberts offer regarding opening ECU and resoldering for you.

Slightly bent pin in the connector. Seems to be resolved and son can't stop driving his Panda now.
