Hi

I'm hoping that someone can help. I have a 2005 Panda dynamic. Yesterday I drove through a puddle and my battery light came on. I turned the engine off and restarted the car. It's still on and I've lost power steering. Even when I put on my city parking the steering is very heavy. Any idea what I need to replace? Can I still drive the car? Have checked the battery and all fluids, they are all full and the battery is four months old. Please help!

If your battery is okay, then the only other thing I can think of is that the alternator isn't charging..

power steering is electric and driven from the alternator, therefore alternator failure is your very likely issue. The drive belt is still there, is it?
