Hello everybody!!! :)

I am Stinky and its awesome to meet you hopefully someone kind enough and super smart knowledgeable can give me a hand :)

Ibreally want to buy a Fiat Uno! It isbtue 1100 FIRE verion.

However I have a lot of questions. Are there a hell of a lot of spares available and at quite cheap prices?

Is it easy to repair if something goes wrong?

How reliable are Fiats in general?

I want the fiat because its nice and small and easy to park ect and looks like a nice car. I also heard the fiat is extremely good on petrol!

Sorry I am typing this from my phone so apologies if there are typos its small lolplease forgive me hehee :)

Hopefully you can help me!

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards

Stinky :)

Parts in the uk. Europe should be ok.

Lot of parts are common to the boxy pandas.

If in Africa..there are some weird differences... caution could well be required

Charlie..owned several 1993 ,94 uno

Ahh thank you so much varesecrazy!! :)

I really do appreciate your help may good fortune come your way ;)

Wow you are a clever chop indeed! :) Yes I am from Africa - South Africa to be more precise. I should have said this in the beginning so I could help diagnose my predicament more easily - sorry about that guys

What is the boxy panda? I have no clue as to what that is lol sorry I am a real newbie at this - this will be my first car I have ever bought haha :)

The model is a 1997 model for the year and is a 1100 FIRE but it would be awesome to know what the spares are like in general for all Uno models unless they vary quite a bit.

I have many questions guys hopefully you can help me:

1)Are there many different versions and weird differences?
2)How easy are they to get repaired?
3)Can any mechanic do repairs?
4)How common are the spares and are they very expensive?

Thank you varesecrazy buddy!!!

May good fortune come your way :)

Here in South Africa, spares for the Uno are very easy to get a reasonably cheap and can be bought from your local spares shop.
