Hi all, my Punto's exhaust (56 plate) as a hole near the back box. When I checked it my exhaust is all in one? But when I looked up about fixing it keeps coming up saying it is in three parts and it has nothing supporting it in the middle (why I have a hole in it) I can't see how it is supposed to be supported. Help!!!

I had my 2007 exhaust replaced last month, the middle section and back box are all in one when new. When you replace the back box you will need a middle section and the back box, mine is supported ok no problems.

I bought a three piece full system from eBay about 2 months ago for my 1.4 active sport to replace factory one piece. Fitted on axel stands on the drive in about 90 mins. Hardest bit was cutting the old one of. Needs cut just in front of rear beam to get back box out, I used a grinder but you'd get it with a hacksaw.

The three piece replacement has no hooks for the front mount by the gearbox so I made one from a u bolt, hanger and some threaded rod with nuts and washers from halfords.

Don't know how long replacement will last but needed done quick for MOT, not really caring if it only lasts a few years it was only about £60 delivered.
