Hi I have a 2014 motorhome with a fiat engine and am wondering if anyone can advise me on servicing. I was advised by dealer it didn't need servicing in its first year due to low mileage but Fiat are telling me it should have been serviced and now they are saying it needs major service despite only having done 3000 miles. We tend go out and about to places that are not that far away mostly.

I obviously want to maintain the service history so am thinking I will need to have the major service to do this.

Can anyone advise me please?

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Regardless of mileage, there are certain things which should be carried out regularly anyway - oil & filter change + air filter for example. I'm assuming it's a Ducato based motorhome, which engine does it have?

Edit: See here, page 239 onwards - https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=download&downloadid=491

Basically it should have had a service last year, but I'm not sure I'd class it as a 'major' service (as that would involve replacing belts, glow plugs, etc). A change of oil and filters and just a general check of brakes, etc is probably all that's needed.
