N00b hello
Morning all,
thought I'd introduce myself as a new first time fiat owner.
just purchased a 1.2 dynamic, 2008, panda. 49k on the clock. In a respectable blue, unlike many of the less pleasant colours they come in!!
Last few cars have been 2litre diesel turbos but now I'm a bit skint and had plenty of trouble with egr's and dpf's etc I thought I would simplify. I hear these 1.2 engines are easy to maintain (can't believe the spare space in the engine bay!).
I do 15k a year commuting to work and just want the thing to get me there and back fuss free.
I want to love my panda and for it to work!
I am a bit gutted to find the road tax is £130, I thought the 1.2 dynamics were all £30 which was a big part of purchasing decision. I checked the rear axle for rust after seeing some posts on here about it. Did look ata acouple which were well rusty.
Only mods I want to do is change the stereo to a DAB radio and maybe put some better door speakers in.
I live in dorset. err, that's about all the chat I can think of.
