Hi lads.. iv just taken the head of my camper as above.. there is a fine crack between each cylinder. Apparently this can happen when they get hot.. should I put it back after having it repaired for bent valves after timing belt snapped.. or wiuld I be able to pick up a second hand head in the uk..? Please help my camper shes my best freind...

You'd probably get a complete engine for the price of the head had a quick look on donedeal this guy says he has a 1.9td engine.

Hi thats very intresting. East coast have one for 750 for the engine . Im really stuck . I just wanna save my wee camper... hers the vin zfa29000000151238. Why not east coast have you had probs with the parts

Head without valves: 5990527
Head with valves: 5888245

Same head is used in some uno and tipo. Bare head is used in the later ducato with the 1930 engine.

I've seen stuff hes sold to other people and his refusal to stand over it. If it was a last engine on the face of the planet I would still want to see it running before I'd give him any cash.

If you're doing the work yourself you might consider an engine transplant with the 2.8 would work out similar money, more power, way more torque, more economical, easy to get parts. Theres a guy on the talbotoc has put together a cd with all the info you need to do the transplant.
