Hiya guys, im thinking about putting a different engine in my 'kermit' Can anybody advise on this subject. I would like to put a 20v fiat turbo engine from a coupe. I saw one on youtube but cant seem to find any information on this subject. can anybody advise on this.. thanks - lawrie

I fitted a custom engineered supercharger kit based on mercedes slk on my 1.6 16v back when I purchased it new in January 2004. The kit and ecu programming was developed by tvs engineering in the Netherlands. It can be switched on and off electrically with a buttonon the dashboard. It's been hassle free since installation and results in major power and torque increase. TVS estimated over 150bhp was achieved, it certainly feels that way. Especially useful when hauling the family and camping car through the alps or drag racing on German autobahn Unfortunately the timing belt broke last week causing irrepairable engine damage. If you are interested in transferring the supercharger kit and ecu let me know. Cheers
