Hello I'm new to this. Have a problem with break lights not working after rain got in bulb unit . Changed bulbs fuses and whole rear light unit and still not working. checked earth connection that's fine not loose or rusty. I'm thinking it's the break light switch under the peddle or a loom problem. Can any one shine some light on this problem please as I'm left with one grumpy misses that can't drive the car not good.

see I would do that but then would have the problem of a broken choc block. I'm going to try get a replacement switch as can't find any broken wires no blown fuses earth connection looks fine as in no corrosion and not loose. Bulbs have all been replaced plus new fuse. So that leaves either a broken wire loom or the switch. Unless there is a fuse that's not located in the fuse box inside the car.Saying that I looked under the bonnet but there's no brake light fuse in there as looked on the inside of the case at the fuse diagram.

will take another look, also borrowing a multi meter now so will let you know how I get on.

Hello problem fixed was brake light switch in the end. And all over a broken light lens that let water in and done the bulbs and the switch. Price in total was £55.
